According to Dr Dean magnesium deficiency can trigger or cause the following conditions:
Anxiety and Panic attacks- Magnesium normally keeps adrenal stress hormones under control.
Asthma - Both histamine production and bronchial spasms increase with Mg deficiency.
Blood clots - magnesium has an important role to play in preventing blood clots and keeping the blood thin-much like aspirin but without the side effects.
Depression -Serotonin, which elevates moods, is dependent on magnesium.
Fatigue - magnesium deficient patients commonly experience fatigue because dozens of enzyme systems are under-functioning. An early symptom of magnesium deficiency is frequently fatigue.
Heart disease - magnesium deficiency is common in people with heart disease. Magnesium is administered in hospitals for acute myocardial infarction and cardiac arrhythmia. Like any other muscle, the heart muscle requires magnesium . Magnesium is also used to treat angina, or chest pain.
Hypertension - with insufficient magnesium, spasm of blood vessels and high cholesterol occur, both of which lead to blood pressure problems.
Magnesium deficiency in our diet
Although magnesium (Mg) is one of the most important nutrients, involved in many enzyme activities and the structural stabilization of tissues, its importance as a macronutrient ion has been overlooked in recent decades by botanists and agriculturists, who did not regard Mg deficiency (MGD) in plants as a severe health problem. However, recent studies have shown, surprisingly, that Mg contents in historical cereal seeds have markedly declined over time, and two thirds of people surveyed in developed countries received less than their minimum daily Mg requirement. >> ReMag™ The Magnesium Miracle - Liquid Magnesium
ReMag minerals are meticulously created from a pure source of magnesium chloride and developed to deliver stabilized magnesium ions that are similar in size to plant magnesium. ReMag is a picometer-ionic form of magnesium, smaller in diameter than the body's cell mineral ion channels. Its direct and complete absorption into cells means ReMag™ bypasses a leaky gut and does not even reach the large intestine to cause diarrhea. Therefore, ReMag does not have a laxative effect.
